The 2019 Upgrade & Save NYC/LI program offers homeowners within Long Island and New York City…
- $800 for the replacement or efficiency upgrade of an existing oil-fired furnace or boiler to a higher-efficiency model
- $200 for the installation of an aboveground fuel storage tank to replace an existing tank determined to be unsafe
- $150 for the replacement of an oil heat burner and controls
These rebates are limited to two per household, giving NYC & LI homeowners the chance to earn up to $1,000 in combined rebates just for improving their home’s heating efficiency. These savings are also on top of the savings homeowners will see over time, as they save up to 40% on their annual heating costs thanks to the high efficiency equipment.
