The New York State Energy Coalition (NYSEC) is comprised of the former boards and members of the New York Oil Heating Association (NYOHA) and Oil Heat Institute of Long Island (OHILI), which approved a merger of the two associations in October 2019, effective January 1, 2020.

Representing New York's Heating Fuels Industry

NYSEC is a not-for-profit entity representing the interests of the majority of heating oil companies, affiliated businesses, and their customers in New York State. NYSEC is dedicated to providing the most effective legislative and regulatory affairs representation on behalf of the industry in both Albany and Washington, DC.

Unlike most trade associations, NYSEC has no offices, overhead or paid staff…it is simply a coalition of interested parties who have a singular goal: To ensure that our interests and those of our customers are fully reflected in the state and national governmental decision-making process.
