Was This Your Heating System’s Final Winter?

- 10:47 am - May 24th, 2017

Has your heating system been powering through one winter after another for 10 years or more? Have you considered getting an upgrade, and how doing so could save you money now and help prevent costly repairs in the future? NYSEC members are here to help.

  • A new heating system is more efficient than older models and could reduce your fuel usage by up to 40 percent.
  • Home extensions and add-ons may require a new system. Upgrading your heating equipment can provide that extra coverage your new office or nursery needs.
  • A new heating system will last longer than the one that’s been chugging along in your home. Newer models have longer life expectancies, which can also be prolonged with regular maintenance by your Oilheat dealer.

With a new system, you could also be eligible for rebates and tax credits that are available through authorized Oilheat dealers. Upgrade & Save – NYC & LI program enables participating dealers to offer customers up to two of the following rebates per household: a $500 rebate for upgrading your old furnace or boiler to a higher-efficiency model, a $200 rebate for installing an aboveground oil storage tank to replace an existing tank, and a $100 rebate for the upgrade of an oil burner and controls.

Now is the time to consider upgrading your heating system – before the winter rolls around and you’re left without heat. Don’t let that happen to you. Call your Oilheat dealer today to upgrade and save!
